This month we have been pleased to welcome Darren Oates and Richard Dady as our new Technical Development Managers. They join Jon Dicken and Mark Harrington to strengthen our technical support for NET-licensed centres.
Previously an external quality assurer and product specialist with awarding organisation EAL, Darren is a fully qualified electrical engineer and lecturer. Prior to his role at EAL, Darren was a senior engineer at Dalkia Utilities Services, before joining Gower College Swansea as a lecturer, where he also carried out the internal quality assurance of various delivered and assessed qualifications within the college.
Richard brings to NET a wealth of experience across the building services engineering industry. In his previous role as Head of Product Development at JTL, he developed a wide range of teaching, learning and assessment materials including 18th Edition guidance and electrical installation text books with Pearson. He has also produced bespoke courses in Test and Inspection and other areas.
In addition to auditing and monitoring our centre network, both Richard and Darren will also be involved in other NET projects such as the development of existing and new End Point Assessments in FESS, Building Controls and materials and resources to support candidate readiness for assessment.
