AM2 and FICA have provided the gold standard for measuring the practical capability of electrotechnical industry personnel since 1985
National Electrotechnical Training (NET) is a registered, pan-UK industry training charity, which owns and licenses the Assessment of Occupational Competence for the electrical installation industry.
The Assessment is known as the Achievement Measurement 2 (AM2) in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and the Final Integrated Competence Assessment (FICA) in Scotland. Currently, 44 colleges and training providers around the UK form NET’s network of licensed assessment centres.
