Welcome to NET
AM2 (FICA in Scotland) is the final practical assessment taken by electrical installation industry trainees. The assessment is a formal unit of the Electrotechnical Apprenticeship and NVQ Level Diploma 3 qualification, requiring qualifying personnel to demonstrate their occupational competence.
National Electrotechnical Training (NET) is the independent, registered UK charity for the electrical installation industry, which owns and licenses the AM2 and FICA, formally known as the industry's Assessment of Occupational Competence (AOC).

Please download this compulsory document. The exercise must be completed by the AM2 candidate, together with their employer and training provider, and signed by all the parties prior to booking an AM2 assessment.

Assessment Information
- The AM2 and FICA are the UK electrotechnical industry's practical
assessment, in which candidates undertake a series of timed tasks in
specially equipped booths containing typical electrical installation wiring
systems.
